joy to the world, blah blah blah

*sucking on peppermint-flavoured candy cane*
MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL OF YOU!
especially to the 64 of you lovely people(God bless you) who spent your Christmas Day reading this unworthy trash site

ahhhh, Christmas is drawing to an end *bangs head against the wall profusely*
to those who spent your christmas well, be it attending to parties, going out having fun, having wonderful big dinners, damn bloody good for you!
to the rest of you (including me) who probably ended up at home, watching some re-runs on channel 5 looking glum and wondering to yourself why on earth are you at home, alone on CHRISTMAS *holy background sound*
never mind! look on the bright side, at least we have the comfort of our own home instead of suffering with the crowds outside. yeah whom am i kidding, trying to lie to myself.

but i did enjoy myself during the start of christmas,
around 12 am, Eden (mer's boyfriend) along with mer, went to pick me up at my house and headed to doby ghaut to catch a late night movie, Yes Man. bloody hell, the road along Far East plaza was jammed terribly. Fortunately for us, i booked the tickets online and we could watch the movie without being late, although it's on the 2nd row, but ahh, it's christmas, so everything's okay. further more i got to celebrate with my best friend, what's more to ask for? after the movie we found a spot and chatted and stuff, then we figured there isnt anything else to do, so we took a cab, heading home. by then it was around 2plus 3 am, and i was wondering it's a pity that we're already out so late just to catch a movie, so i suggested doing something we both never did before, on a Christmas day.
.
.
.
Sheesha (sorry la i don't know how to spell)
after a somewhat infuriating experience, we both came to a conclusion.
that we both hated sheesha and thinks that _____ is much better :)

SO, what did i do the next morning?
waking up at around 11, with just 5 hours of sleep, i had 2 pieces of cheese prata for breakfast (pretty amusing actually, eating prata on Christmas) and some snacks and read Twilight, got a little sleepy, and took a nap, woke up 2 hours later, and continued reading. initially Ronnie, Wilson, Chloe and i were to go out, but(<-- there it is again) the outing wasn't planned, no destination, no programmes. and i realised whenever the four of us planned to go out, it's either someone was suffering from hangover or someone's uncontactable on the day itself. ahh well. I sure hope there IS one day that we could go out!
besides reading the book, i went to ride bicycle at macritchie as usual, today's exceptionally windy and crowded. and we had a simple western family dinner, everyone was present, including Dawn, my eldest brother's girlfriend. so i guess the day's not bad after all.

as i mentioned before, most of my friends, and myself too, don't practice gift exchanging during Christmas, but just for the fun of it, and to practice holiday spirit, i bought different kinds of gingerbread men and candy canes to be given to some of my close friends.

here's one of the "lucky" receivers

and i got my darlin' a stalk of blue rose along with her favourite cookie monster, so cute right?
speaking of presents, i received two this year, hand made keychain and strawberry purse from Connie and Liyan respectively, as featured at the previous post.
to those who got presents that both of your hands can't be able to carry, share leh.

funny - i merely told her to pose "funny faces"

and both of us did the same expressions for both pictures!

after everything, we found ourselves in the middle of Beach Road, and we were greeted by a group of what we assumed, school boys who probably just finished their O levels, high possibility from a Boy's school. some drunk, wished us Merry christmas, hi-5ed and patted our backs.
boy, christmas really do get people high huh.

ANYWAYS. it's the last week of my 2 weeks holidays, and i haven't started on any assignments, no surprises. Angels above, save my big fat ass.
