Love is irrational

Greetings all. This will be a post with scarcity of pictures ( wonder If that’s a good or bad thing). The main reason of why I’m blogging now is not that I’ve got anything stupid/interesting ( your point of view) to share, but to prove that I’m still alive. Last few days, if I say so myself, I am no different to that of a patient suffering from coma, bed ridden for more than five days, no, not because i'm sick or had committed suicide or anything(sorry to disappoint), instead i cooped myself into my room to read books, cutting contact with the outside world, just for reading books. yes you've seen it right, reading books. Twilight and New Moon to be exact. speaking of which, any of you people own the third sequel to Twilight, 'Eclipse'? i went all over orchard to the mega bookstores to look for it, unfortunately they've been sold out. i got a little desperate, and good ol' yd sent me the 'e-book' version, and being oh-so desperate, i'm already half way done reading, but still, anyone able to lend/loan me?

and yes, i think that the life i'm leading now is kind of unhealthy, being obsessed to fictional characters of fictional stories. yes, obsessed is the word. i've watched Twilight 4 times, and i think i would want to watch it again, which reminds me, last night, out of boredom / unhealthy obsessiveness, i wiki-ed the actor of 'Jasper Hale' to find out that he's born in Singapore! omfg. anyways, i spent almost a day to complete the book, which just proves how gripped i am towards the story. after reading and watching several times, i'd have a whole new and different perspective of couples, all other couples would just look plain and unromantic to me. which just goes back to why i'm leading an unhealthy lifestyle. sigh. first term break was the start of me being obsessed in some 2-dimensional stupid game (Maple Story) and the second term break got me hooked on story books. well on second thought, it doesn't look half as bad, obsessed over books should be a good thing. or not.

so i had my fourth screening of Twilight yesterday, having the pleasure to watch with classmate cum pretty lady Nysa! we swooned like regular teenage girls whenever there's a love scene of Edward and Bella. ahhh. and after that, we went to get our nails done. was not quite keen at first, but when i went in, and thought that since the new year's just round the corner, i figured why not, and it's been a long time since i had girl time.

but yes, a day with Siu Fang just can't get boring and dull. when we're done, and wanted to pay, absent minded, as always, i realised i did not have enough cash with me and i did not bring my atm card, plus nysa didn't have money too, so the only way i thought was to hold my laptop hostage with the manicurists and went back home to get my wallet and went back to amk hub.

i guess you guys wouldn't be surprised upon reading this, 'cos it's just me to be absent-minded. yes. time to add on to my new-years resolution

the colour i chose, pretty!

and very conveniently matches my laptop

evidence of leading an unhealthy/obsessed lifestyle.

i got real elated when the Outkast shirt, Outkast and Killers poster i bought online about two weeks back, arrived yesterday.

what would an unhealthy/obsessed teenage girl react after pasting the posters on the wall?

joy to the world, blah blah blah

*sucking on peppermint-flavoured candy cane*
MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL OF YOU!
especially to the 64 of you lovely people(God bless you) who spent your Christmas Day reading this unworthy trash site

ahhhh, Christmas is drawing to an end *bangs head against the wall profusely*
to those who spent your christmas well, be it attending to parties, going out having fun, having wonderful big dinners, damn bloody good for you!
to the rest of you (including me) who probably ended up at home, watching some re-runs on channel 5 looking glum and wondering to yourself why on earth are you at home, alone on CHRISTMAS *holy background sound*
never mind! look on the bright side, at least we have the comfort of our own home instead of suffering with the crowds outside. yeah whom am i kidding, trying to lie to myself.

but i did enjoy myself during the start of christmas,
around 12 am, Eden (mer's boyfriend) along with mer, went to pick me up at my house and headed to doby ghaut to catch a late night movie, Yes Man. bloody hell, the road along Far East plaza was jammed terribly. Fortunately for us, i booked the tickets online and we could watch the movie without being late, although it's on the 2nd row, but ahh, it's christmas, so everything's okay. further more i got to celebrate with my best friend, what's more to ask for? after the movie we found a spot and chatted and stuff, then we figured there isnt anything else to do, so we took a cab, heading home. by then it was around 2plus 3 am, and i was wondering it's a pity that we're already out so late just to catch a movie, so i suggested doing something we both never did before, on a Christmas day.
.
.
.
Sheesha (sorry la i don't know how to spell)
after a somewhat infuriating experience, we both came to a conclusion.
that we both hated sheesha and thinks that _____ is much better :)

SO, what did i do the next morning?
waking up at around 11, with just 5 hours of sleep, i had 2 pieces of cheese prata for breakfast (pretty amusing actually, eating prata on Christmas) and some snacks and read Twilight, got a little sleepy, and took a nap, woke up 2 hours later, and continued reading. initially Ronnie, Wilson, Chloe and i were to go out, but(<-- there it is again) the outing wasn't planned, no destination, no programmes. and i realised whenever the four of us planned to go out, it's either someone was suffering from hangover or someone's uncontactable on the day itself. ahh well. I sure hope there IS one day that we could go out!
besides reading the book, i went to ride bicycle at macritchie as usual, today's exceptionally windy and crowded. and we had a simple western family dinner, everyone was present, including Dawn, my eldest brother's girlfriend. so i guess the day's not bad after all.

as i mentioned before, most of my friends, and myself too, don't practice gift exchanging during Christmas, but just for the fun of it, and to practice holiday spirit, i bought different kinds of gingerbread men and candy canes to be given to some of my close friends.

here's one of the "lucky" receivers

and i got my darlin' a stalk of blue rose along with her favourite cookie monster, so cute right?
speaking of presents, i received two this year, hand made keychain and strawberry purse from Connie and Liyan respectively, as featured at the previous post.
to those who got presents that both of your hands can't be able to carry, share leh.

funny - i merely told her to pose "funny faces"

and both of us did the same expressions for both pictures!

after everything, we found ourselves in the middle of Beach Road, and we were greeted by a group of what we assumed, school boys who probably just finished their O levels, high possibility from a Boy's school. some drunk, wished us Merry christmas, hi-5ed and patted our backs.
boy, christmas really do get people high huh.

ANYWAYS. it's the last week of my 2 weeks holidays, and i haven't started on any assignments, no surprises. Angels above, save my big fat ass.

ain't it a shame

i'm using my second's bro's com to blog right now. but when he's back from his camp, i would be a super loner without technology... i miss using my vaio!

anyways, exactly one more month to the big one-eight

still have not decided what to do

hmmm

i've got soooooooooooooo many things to say/complain

but first, i shall blog about the long-awaited LOLLY OUTING *begins yodelling*

...

sunday

to start the retarded, spastic yet fun-filled sunday afternoon,

two members of lolly started giving gifts!

it was kinda unexpected

connie made all of us these keychains! ji cool yi xia worxzxz

and my beloved ahlian gave each of us these sexy pouches!

that liyan, forever nonsense yet undeniably cute,

started off her presents-distribution by taking out the green, ogre-shrek-like purse and handed it to mer.

all of us bursted out laughing.

real loud. (okay, maybe only audrey and i,......

okay only maybe i'm the only one who laughed very loudly)

we were like thinking to ourselves, is she going to give us the same purse but in different colours?
but she started giving us each different purses.

then mer was like in a *WTF?* mode, wondering why she got this funny looking purse (in a good funny way) but all of us got cute purses. liyan said " i don't know leh, i see already first thing is think of you"

that made me laughed even louder.

anyways thanks dearest connie and lian!

all of their purses had faces except for mine, which is edible
ya fat ma that's why must get me stuff that has to be related to eating
HAHAHA

when we were walking at fareast plaza, we passed by a shop that sells purses and saw one that really suited lian, so all of us chipped in and got this yellow "smelly face" as lian calls it, to her :)

that sweetie even drew little cards for all of us!

we headed to shaw house lido to catch 'Angus, Thongs and perfect snogging'

the character Robbie is SOOOOOOOOOO CUTEEEEEE

every 5 minutes or so during the movie i would bug liyan and say "fucking handsome sia"

and every single time she would reply a "yeahhh!"

wtf face

hahahhaha

liyan loves taking stupid pictures of me

revenge baby!

and when i posed like that, these few ladies buay song

want to immitate limbu

4 of us trying out my "trademark smile" - mouth wide open, huge gap between lower and upper teeth

the story behind this -

mother : your face already so pretty, but you always never smile, look so fierce, guys see already scared

me : *does trade mark smile* like that can? am i seducing you?

mother: you are scaring me

christmas decorations. i think it's been like ten years since i took pictures with the orchard christmas decorations

i'm happy that this time i got a chance to take again, plus with a bunch of lovely girls

bubble gum flavoured candy canes, pretty!

ok, random, this is a picture of my room without curtains.

and this is just before my adaptor could not work

:(

pretty strawberries

.

.

.

and yesterday, the initial plan was to get my adaptor fixed at wisma, then to vivocity to fix my phone, and then watch bolt with joe.

BUT. (yes, there's always this but)

thanks to me,

1) i wasted $9.50 on cab fare

2) i think i got cheated 50 cents for "entering the ERP gantry" which i don't recall

3) they said the adaptor would not be under warranty when i called before i left, and my laptop

haven't registered for warranty, so i had to bring my invoice along to register, which i forgot to bring along. and i thought it didn't matter, since they said that the adaptor isn't under warranty

4) i went there alone, and there wasn't anybody queing, spent around ten minutes, and the guy told me i had to go back to get my invoice

5) went back home to take, and headed back to wisma. this time alot of people. must wait.

6) different guy, said i could collect the adaptor earliest friday, or monday. which means no interaction with the world wide web for several days, no mob tv, no mindless chatting during night time!

7)went to vivocity, LG to check my phone, and getting it fixed.

LG guy : *opens up my phone without turning it off and began checking* hmm, i suspect your phone has got contact with water...

me : *machiam very proud* "YAHHH! THAT TIME I STILL DROP INSIDE THE FISH POND! but very long ago already, like february

LG guy: hmm if this is the case, when water is contact with the product, the warranty is voided.

HAHAHHA

let's all just pretend it never happened

8) the ginger bread man supposedly a gift for joe broke into many pieces

...

thanks nerd ! for travelling through and fro, waiting, carrying my bag, dinner, and having to cancel this and that

he even helped me to get an adaptor from his friend's friend, but in the end when i tried to use it, it worked but i felt static. so he called sony and asked if the certain model of the adaptor could be used on my laptop, and he told me i could not touch the adaptor, as it will "blow my laptop up" but thanks alot anyways! (y)

...

i haven't got anything in my "spoilt" list fixed as planned, instead i added on to the list

life sucks man
